Hi, I’m Allison.

After a few months of perusing the web to read lifestyle (okay, in all honesty, primarily mommy) blogs, I’ve decided to stake a flag in the world wide web. I’m here to share my thoughts on life, love, and cooking; to encourage myself to write more frequently; and to archive my thoughts for reminiscing in the future.

I’m a second year Political Science student studying in Boston. I hail from Louisville, KY, which is approximately as confused about its regional identity as I am. I like cooking and weekend trips and meticulously tracking my steps through FitBit (I swear I started before it was trendy.)

I’m on a little bit of a mission to prove to the world that sometimes long distance relationships can work, that I will eventually be able to run 13.1 miles, and that eating ramen isn’t a prerequisite for living on a budget in college.
